QESCO stands for Quetta Electric Supply Company which was incorporated in 1998 under Companies Ordinance 1984.QESCO BILL, It is a Public Limited Utility Company which is responsible for supplying power (electricity) to the biggest province of Pakistan; Balochistan which makes up 44% of the area of entire Pakistan. However, the district of Lasbela doesn’t come under the jurisdiction of QESCO. QESCO is sustaining a serious deficit in Electricity supply and despite best endeavor on our part we still encounter a variety of challenges. Revamping OF WAPDA QESCO was one of the Eight AEBs, which were constituted through amendments in WAPDA Act during 1981.
QESCO is responsible for the distribution of electricity to the districts of Awaran, Bolan, Barkhan, Chaghi, Gwadar, Dera Bugti, Jhal Magsi, Jafarabad, Kech, Kalat, Kharan, Kohlu, Khuzdar, Mastung, Loralai, Musakhel, Nushki, Naseerabad, Pishsin, Panjgur, Qilla Saifullah, Qillah Abdullah, Quetta, Sherani, Zhob, Sibi, and Ziarat.
It provides electricity to a population of more than 20 million. QESCO works for its aim to supply electricity and gain Pakistan concerning earnings and provide other related services to its customers and Pakistan.

QESCO Bill
QESCO provides its customers with services to check your electricity bill online. In case you want to check QESCO bill online or you have lost your bill or it has been damaged, you can easily get a duplicate copy online. You don’t have to visit the service center of QESCO now. 14 Digit Reference Number
The 14 digit reference number is usually mentioned on the top-left corner of the bill, below the box of “Consumer ID.” The reference number is important. It is the identity of your electricity connection. If you know the reference number of your bill, you can deposit the bill from anywhere using any app or online banking.
Paying QESCO Bill
You can pay QESCO electricity bill with the hard copy of the bill. If you haven’t received the copy of the bill for this month, you can print a bill copy here and pay it by visiting any commercial bank, Easypaisa shop, or Post office.

QESCO’s official website provides a fantastic feature of invoice SMS support. You can register yourself on the website to receive monthly bills by giving your reference number and SMS. New Connection and Transfer Procedure:
If you have bought a new house and want to get a new connection or transfer your QESCO connection from the former owner to yourself, follow the process given here. QESCO Tariff
QESCO bill includes various taxes which are mentioned on the bill copy. Some of the frequent taxes are explained below.
T.R Surcharge
T.R stands for Tariff Rationalization Surcharge. It is the gap between the NEPRA and the Government of Pakistan tariff. When this gap is positive, it will be payable by the government of Pakistan as “Subsidy” but if this gap is negative, it will be payable by the consumers as IDTR SUR (Inter DISCO Tariff Rationalization Surcharge).
FPA
FPA means Fuel Price Adjustment. The FPA amount from the QESCO bill belongs to the gas prices of leasing power companies that generate power from crude oil. You will see this amount on your bill when there is fuel cost payable.
FC Surcharge
FC stands for Financing Cost. It is a Lending Price. QESCO officials decided to bill 43 paisa to every connection as Hamilton’s academic surcharge to ensure collection of debt servicing of the Power Holding Private Limited.
QTR Tariff Adj/DMC
It is the annual tariff modification level. This tariff appears on the bill every couple of weeks. For more information and any question contact us.
