QESCO Tariff

QESCO bill includes various taxes which are mentioned on the bill copy. Some of the frequent taxes are explained below.

T.R Surcharge

T.R stands for Tariff Rationalization Surcharge. It is the gap between the NEPRA and the Government of Pakistan tariff. When this gap is positive, it will be payable by the government of Pakistan as “Subsidy” but if this gap is negative, it will be payable by the consumers as IDTR SUR (Inter DISCO Tariff Rationalization Surcharge).

FPA

FPA means Fuel Price Adjustment. The FPA amount from the QESCO bill belongs to the gas prices of leasing power companies that generate power from crude oil. You will see this amount on your bill when there is fuel cost payable.

FC Surcharge

FC stands for Financing Cost. It is a Lending Price. QESCO officials decided to bill 43 paisa to every connection as Hamilton’s academic surcharge to ensure collection of debt servicing of the Power Holding Private Limited.

QTR Tariff Adj/DMC
