The health sector in Pakistan has been undeveloped since independence. Consecutive governments paid least to no attention to this sector. However, there have been several improvements in hospital facilities in recent years and now there are hospitals which can be ranked among some of the best hospitals in the world in terms of technology and facilities., In this article, I have listed the best hospitals in Pakistan so that you know better where to go when you are faced with some health problem. These hospitals are ranked according to my personal and popular opinion so I might not be able to do justice with all of them.

Best Hospital in Pakistan:

Jinnah Hospital is considered the best hospital in Pakistan. About 700,000 get treated in this hospital every year. It was initially established as an NGO and was turned into a well equipped hospital later. It has achieved many exceptional advancements. Also, the staff is very cooperative and caring which makes you feel comfortable when you are being treated. The hospital is regularly visited by specialists and medical attendants who give timely treatment. Jinnah hospital was expanded with another 100 bed Accident and Emergency department in 2005.

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital:

 

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital Pakistan’s first charitable, tertiary care hospital established by Mr. Imran Khan. It is by far the best cancer hospital in Pakistan. It provides free treatment to about 75% of the cancer patients admitted here. Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad:

 

Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences or PIMS is a public sector 592 bed hospital with about 1800 employees, and 22 medical and surgical specialties. It was inaugurated in September 1987.
