It has a simple, non revolving brush for cleaning flat carpets and hard floors. Another type of canister uses a turbine or turbo floor tool. It features a revolving brush powered by the airflow created by the suction motor. The third type of canister has a power brush floor tool just like an upright vacuum cleaner. The revolving brush roll is driven by a separate electric motor. All the canister vacuum cleaners are used with a hose, floor tools, wands and tool attachments.
Bag or Bagless Vacuum Cleaner:
Choosing between a vacuum cleaner with a dustbag or a bagless one is a matter of personal preference. However, if someone in your family has asthma or allergies, or if you don’t want to spoil the quality of air inside the house, a vacuum with a dustbag is a good choice.
Though bagless vacuum cleaners do an excellent job in cleaning, it releases a cloud of dust when you remove the dust container and dump it into the dumpster. Also, many bagless vacuums come with filters that need brushing and washing to remove trapped particles.
